I love good music. Heaven knows, I listen to plenty of Chopin, Pearl Jam, and Coltrane. But, I have a weird part of my brain that makes me like really bad music. I am an adult. I have a job. My wife has a job. We have iPads, iPhones, and, (most importantly), disposable incomes.

If I like a service or product that you provide, I will pay for it. Please let me pay. I’m tired of free, ad-supported apps, services that go under after 6 months, buyouts, and talent acquisitions.

Don’t be scared to charge your customers and take the money. Don’t be scared to only open your service or application to people that are willing to pay for it. And for the love of everything holy, don’t be scared to charge more than you think your service or product is worth. (Hint: It is worth more than you think.)
